Medieval Reception at Leuchtenburg Castle

Get ready for an incredible experience at Leuchtenburg Castle! Not only can you explore a magnificent medieval castle that has been almost completely preserved in its original state as part of a guided tour, but you’ll also get to discover a fascinating world of wishes and wonders surrounding porcelain.
On the guided tour through the world of “white gold,” we’ll show you porcelain from entirely new perspectives. Immerse yourself in faraway China, stroll through magical cabinets of wonder, experiment with the recipe for this precious material, and be enchanted by porcelain records. The highlight of the tour awaits you at the Bridge of Wishes.
And the fun doesn’t stop there! Afterwards, you can dine at Leuchtenburg Castle in a historic setting. Our maids and servants will give you a warm welcome and treat you to a variety of hot and cold dishes, including a regional German grill buffet.

Schedule:
- 4:00 pm – Bus departure from Kaisersaal Erfurt to Leuchtenburg Castle
- Around 5:00 pm – Arrival at Leuchtenburg Castle
- 15-minute walk from the car park to the top of the castle hill
- 6:00 – 7:00 pm – Guided tour through the castle (please indicate your interest when registering)
- From 7:00 pm – Dinner
- 9:45 pm – Walk back down to the car park
- 10:00 pm – Bus departure back to Erfurt
Dress code: Casual attire and sturdy footwear.

Please plan for a 10-15 minute walk from the car park to the castle hill. The distance from the car park to the Leuchtenburg is about 500 meters, with an elevation gain of around 60 meters. If you are unable to walk up to the castle, please let us know on the registration form, and we will arrange alternative transport for you.
